Police Deputy Director General Emmanuel Carta Jr. married his wife Annie Milay, in a civil ceremony, 17 years ago. He promised to marry her again in a church rites,and it was fulfilled last September 19,2008,at the Manila Cathedral, Intramuros, Manila. It was the military bishop, Most Reverend Leopoldo S.Tumulak who led the con celebrated Mass with 5 other priests.The principal sponsors were, Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita,Local Government Secretary Ronaldo Puno,Secretary Hermogenes Esperon,PNP Chief Avelino Razon,Jr., Dr. Emilio Yap, Ambassador Antonio Cabangon Chua, Governor Ireneo Maliksi,Teresito Lanez, Dr. Margarita Cojuangco, Ms.Cecilia Razon, Dr. Lorna Esperon, Ms. Claire Cardenas, Lyra Gem Marcos, Ruby Yleana and Adriana Lanez.
Police Director Nicolas Pasinos and wife Merle served as the candle sponsors,
Police Director Eduardo Doromal and wife Celina,veil, and the cord sponsors were Police Director Wilfredo Garcia and wife Hazel Lynn.
The four boys of the couple: Emmanuel III,Emmanuel IV, Emmanuel V, and Emmanuel VI, served as Junior Groom's Men and Little Groom respectively.
The reception follows at the historic Manila Hotel, Maynila Ball room.
